Ilker was born in Giresun, a small city on the coast of Black Sea Region in Turkey, in 1990. He moved to Ankara for university and has been living there for ten years. Since his university graduation, he has more time to spend on photography than in the past. He generally works on the street, using light and graphics in his photography. Geometry is an essential tool for him and he is always searching for geometric alignments, structures and perspectives in his photographic compositions. Now, with every shot he takes, he is fascinated with the influence of geometry on our photographic language.
